And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
There won't be any more curse or brokenness. Instead, God and the Lamb will be right there on the throne, and everyone who belongs to him will get to serve alongside him.
No more broken world, just you, God, and purpose forever.
📚 Historical Context
Revelation 22:3 is part of the Apostle John's apocalyptic vision in the book of Revelation, written around 95 AD during his exile on the island of Patmos, where he received divine revelations about the end times. This verse draws from the biblical narrative of the curse in Genesis 3, which resulted from humanity's sin and brought suffering into the world, contrasting it with the promised new creation where that curse is completely removed. It describes the eternal state in the New Jerusalem, emphasizing God's direct presence and the unending service of His people to Him.
