Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
You will treat the silver coverings of your carved idols and the gold decorations of your cast metal images as disgusting and unclean. You will throw them away like a filthy cloth and say to them, 'Get out of here!'
God is saying that when people truly turn back to Him, they will be so disgusted by their former idols that they'll throw them away like trash.
