✦ SIMPLIFICADO

Let this clothing and horse be given to one of the king's most important officials, so they can dress the man the king wants to honor and lead him on horseback through the city streets, announcing loudly, 'This is what happens to the man the king chooses to honor!'

⚡ EN RESUMEN

This verse describes an elaborate public ceremony where the king would honor someone by having them dressed in royal clothing, paraded through the city on horseback, with an announcement of the king's special favor.

📚 Historical Context

This takes place in the Persian Empire under King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I), where public displays of honor were important political and social events. Haman had suggested this elaborate honor ceremony thinking it would be for himself, not knowing the king intended it for Mordecai, the Jewish man who had saved the king's life.
