⚡ EN RESUMEN

The writer is showing how Haman unknowingly suggests the highest possible honors should be given to someone, not realizing he's describing what will happen to Mordecai instead of himself.

📚 Historical Context

This verse occurs when King Ahasuerus asks Haman what should be done for someone the king wants to honor, thinking of Mordecai who had saved his life. Haman, assuming the king means to honor him, suggests the most extravagant royal treatment possible. In ancient Persian culture, wearing the king's clothes and riding his horse were supreme honors typically reserved for the king alone.
