And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

During the prophet Jeremiah's time in the 7th-6th century BC, Judah faced imminent judgment from Babylon due to widespread idolatry and disobedience to God's covenant. This verse is part of a prophetic promise of restoration after exile, envisioning people from various regions of Judah returning to worship at the Temple with offerings as a symbol of renewed faithfulness. It highlights God's enduring plan to gather and revive His people despite their past failures.
