📚 Contexto Histórico

In the biblical narrative, King Saul was increasingly paranoid about David, whom he saw as a threat to his throne after David had been anointed as the future king. When Saul discovered that the priests at Nob, led by Ahimelech, had unknowingly aided David by giving him food and a weapon, he accused them of treason in his rage. However, the guards refused to carry out the order, showing their reverence for God and the sacred role of the priests.
