But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
But I'm going to let a few of them survive the war, the starvation, and the plague. Why? So they can tell everyone around them about all the terrible things they did. When that happens, people will finally understand that I am the LORD.
Sometimes God lets us survive our mess so we can warn others and point them back to him.
