📚 Historical Context
In Acts 10, Peter, a Jewish apostle, is visiting the home of Cornelius, a Roman centurion and a Gentile, which was highly unusual and against Jewish customs that forbade associating with non-Jews. This event follows Peter's vision from God, where he was commanded not to call any person impure, highlighting the early church's expansion to include Gentiles in the message of salvation. As Peter enters Cornelius's house, he discovers a large group assembled, eager to hear about Jesus.
