Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
Then King Asa gathered all the people of Judah, and they took away the stones and wood from Ramah that Baasha had been using to build up the city. Asa used these same materials to build up the cities of Geba and Mizpah instead.
King Asa took the building materials that his enemy had been using to fortify a city against him and used them to strengthen his own strategic locations.

During the divided kingdom period of Israel, King Asa of Judah faced threats from Baasha, the king of Israel, who was fortifying Ramah to blockade Judah and strengthen his position. In response, Asa mobilized his forces to dismantle Baasha's construction at Ramah, reusing the stones and timber to fortify his own cities, Geba and Mizpah, as a strategic defensive measure.
