✦ MADE SIMPLE

And the LORD said to Satan, 'Have you noticed my servant Job? There is no one like him on earth—a man who is blameless and upright, who honors God and turns away from evil. And he still holds onto his integrity, even though you convinced me to let you harm him for no good reason.'

⚡ THE BOTTOM LINE

God is praising Job's unwavering faithfulness and integrity, even after allowing Satan to test him with terrible suffering.

📚 Historical Context

This conversation takes place after Job has already lost his children, livestock, and health in the first round of testing. Satan had claimed Job only served God because of his blessings, so God allowed Satan to test Job's faith. Despite losing everything, Job remained faithful to God.
