And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
Even though the Lord allows you to go through hard times and suffering, your teachers will no longer be hidden away from you. Instead, you will be able to see your teachers clearly.
God is promising that even during difficult times, He will make sure His people have access to spiritual guidance and teaching that won't be taken away from them.
📚 Historical Context
In the 8th century BC, the prophet Isaiah was addressing the people of Judah during a time of rebellion against God and threats from the Assyrian empire, warning them of impending judgment for their idolatry and alliances with foreign powers. God was using hardships like adversity and affliction as a form of discipline to draw His people back to faithfulness. Isaiah promises that despite these trials, God would ensure that spiritual teachers and guides would no longer be hidden or marginalized, making them visible once again.
