And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh twice in two different ways is because God has firmly decided on this plan, and God will make it happen soon.
This verse explains that when God repeats a message, it means He has definitely decided to do it and will act quickly.
📚 Historical Context
Joseph is interpreting Pharaoh's dreams about seven fat cows followed by seven thin cows, and seven full grain stalks followed by seven withered ones. These dreams predicted seven years of plenty followed by seven years of severe famine in Egypt. Joseph explains that God gave Pharaoh the same message through two different dream images to emphasize its certainty and urgency.
