God is telling Moses that He will make Pharaoh chase the Israelites so He can demonstrate His power and show everyone that He alone is the true God.
📚 Historical Context
In the book of Exodus, the Israelites had been enslaved in Egypt for generations, and God raised up Moses to demand their release through a series of miraculous plagues. As the Israelites fled toward the Red Sea, God revealed His plan to harden Pharaoh's heart, causing him to pursue them so that God could demonstrate His supreme power and deliver His people in a dramatic way. This event was designed to reveal to the Egyptians and surrounding nations that the Lord is the one true God.
