Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
Our livestock must come with us too. We won't leave a single animal behind, because we need them to worship the LORD our God. We don't know exactly what we'll need to offer to the LORD until we get there.
Moses is insisting that all the Israelites' animals must come with them because they don't know what God will require for worship until they reach their destination.
📚 Historical Context
This is Moses responding to Pharaoh's attempt to negotiate during the plague of locusts. Pharaoh had agreed to let the Israelites go worship God in the wilderness but wanted their livestock to remain in Egypt as collateral. Moses refused this compromise, knowing that animals were essential for sacrificial worship in ancient times.
