And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjathjearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:
In the Book of Joshua, after the Israelites had conquered much of the Promised Land, the leaders were systematically dividing the territory among the twelve tribes to ensure each received their allotted inheritance. This verse describes the southern boundary of the land given to the tribe of Benjamin, starting from the town of Kirjathjearim and extending westward to the waters of Nephtoah, as part of God's fulfillment of His promises to the descendants of Abraham. This division highlighted the importance of order and faithfulness in claiming the land God had sworn to give them.
