📚 Contexto Histórico
This warning was given to King Jehoiakim of Judah around 609-598 BC, during a time when the kingdom was facing threats from Babylon. God had been calling the kings and leaders to practice justice and care for the vulnerable, but they continued in corruption and idol worship. The 'house' refers to the royal palace, which would indeed be destroyed when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians in 586 BC.
