📚 Contexto Histórico
This prophecy was spoken to King Jehoiachin (also called Coniah) of Judah around 597 BC, just before the Babylonian exile. Nebuchadnezzar had already begun his conquest of Jerusalem, and God was warning through Jeremiah that continued rebellion against Him would result in complete defeat. The Chaldeans were another name for the Babylonians, the dominant empire that would destroy Jerusalem and take the people into captivity.
