This verse comes from King Hezekiah's prayer when he was deathly ill and thought he was going to die. The prophet Isaiah had initially told him to prepare for death, and Hezekiah poured out his heart to God in anguish. This was before God granted him fifteen additional years of life through Isaiah's intervention.
