📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse is part of God's instructions to the prophet Jeremiah around 600 BC, during the final years before Jerusalem's destruction by Babylon. Jeremiah was told to buy a clay jar and take some of the city's elders and priests to the Valley of Ben Hinnom, where he would deliver a message of judgment. Breaking pottery was a common symbolic act in ancient times to represent irreversible destruction.
