And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
In the biblical narrative of Exodus, Moses was acting as God's spokesperson to Pharaoh during the Israelites' enslavement in Egypt, where God sent a series of plagues to demonstrate His power and compel Pharaoh to release His people. This specific event occurred during the seventh plague, a severe hailstorm that devastated Egypt, and Moses interceded in prayer as a sign of God's mercy when Pharaoh temporarily relented. The cessation of the storm highlighted God's sovereignty over nature and His willingness to respond to faithful prayer amid the ongoing conflict.
