📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse is part of God's response through the prophet Isaiah to King Hezekiah regarding the Assyrian king Sennacherib's threats against Jerusalem. Sennacherib had surrounded Jerusalem with his army and sent blasphemous messages mocking God and demanding surrender. The 'virgin daughter of Zion' and 'daughter of Jerusalem' are poetic names for the city of Jerusalem and its people.
