Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
This verse comes from the Queen of Sheba's visit to King Solomon around 950 BC, when she traveled from southern Arabia (modern-day Yemen/Ethiopia) to test his legendary wisdom with difficult questions. After witnessing Solomon's wisdom, his palace, and his prosperous kingdom firsthand, she was completely overwhelmed by what she saw. Her declaration reflects the ancient understanding that being in the presence of a wise ruler was considered a tremendous blessing and privilege.
