As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
Just as a person is born naked from their mother's womb, they will leave this world the same way they came, with nothing. They cannot take any of the things they worked for or carry away anything they earned with their own hands.
This verse reminds us that we enter and leave this world with nothing material, unable to take our earthly possessions with us when we die.
