Day 1

How Long, Lord?

Psalm 13:1-2
Clear, easy-to-understand.
How long will you forget me, God? Forever? How long will you hide from me? How long will I wrestle with my thoughts and carry this daily sorrow in my heart?

Have you ever felt forgotten by God?

It's okay to ask God 'how long?' — the psalmists did it too.

Day 2

Deep Calls to Deep

Psalm 42:7
Clear, easy-to-understand.
The deep ocean calls out to the deep — all your waves and breakers have crashed over me.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by wave after wave?

Even in the deepest waters, God hears your cry.

Day 3

Why Have You Forsaken Me?

Psalm 22:1-2
Clear, easy-to-understand.
My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far from saving me? I cry out during the day but you don't answer, and at night I'm still calling.

Jesus quoted this psalm on the cross. What does that tell you?

Even Jesus felt abandoned — your feelings don't disqualify your faith.

Day 4

Out of the Depths

Psalm 130:1-2
Clear, easy-to-understand.
From the deepest pit, I've cried out to you, God. Lord, hear my voice! Pay attention to my desperate prayers.

What 'depth' are you crying from right now?

God doesn't just hear surface prayers — he hears the deep ones.

Day 5

But I Trust

Psalm 13:5-6
Clear, easy-to-understand.
But I trust in your unfailing love. My heart will celebrate your salvation. I will sing to God because he's been so good to me.

Can you move from lament to trust?

Every lament psalm ends with hope — and so will your story.
