And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
And this belongs to you: the special offerings that the people of Israel bring as gifts, including all their wave offerings. I have given these to you and your sons and daughters as a permanent law. Anyone in your household who is ceremonially clean may eat from these offerings.
God is telling Aaron that he and his family can eat from the special offerings the Israelites bring, as long as they follow the purity rules.
📚 Historical Context
This verse is part of God's instructions to Aaron about how the priests and their families would be supported, since the tribe of Levi received no land inheritance. The 'heave offerings' and 'wave offerings' were portions of sacrifices that were ceremonially lifted up before God, then given to the priests as their provision.
