All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Everyone who is born in this land must follow these same rules when they bring fire offerings that smell sweet and pleasing to the LORD.
God is establishing that all native-born Israelites must follow the same worship practices when bringing offerings to Him.
📚 Historical Context
This verse comes from God's instructions to Moses about proper offerings while the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness. God was establishing standardized worship practices for when they would enter the Promised Land. The 'fire offerings' referred to burnt sacrifices where animals or grain were burned on the altar, creating a 'sweet savour' that symbolized prayers and devotion rising up to God.
