The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.
God will completely remove anyone who does this, doesn't matter if they're a leader or a student, doesn't matter if they're bringing offerings to worship. They'll be cut off from God's people entirely.
Your status or good deeds won't protect you when you cross the line God has drawn.
