All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
All the flocks from Kedar will be brought to you, and the rams from Nebaioth will serve you. They will be offered as acceptable sacrifices on my altar, and I will bring honor to my glorious temple.
God is promising that even distant nations will come to worship Him and bring their best offerings to His temple.
📚 Historical Context
Kedar and Nebaioth were Arabian tribes descended from Ishmael, known for their large flocks of sheep and goats. These were considered foreign, non-Jewish peoples who lived in the desert regions. Isaiah was prophesying about a future time when even these distant nations would come to worship the God of Israel in Jerusalem.
