Aaron must wear it when he serves as priest. The sound it makes will be heard when he enters the holy place before the LORD and when he comes out, so that he will not die.

⚡ THE BOTTOM LINE

God is requiring Aaron to wear a special garment with bells so God can hear him coming and going in the holy place, protecting him from death.

📚 Historical Context

This verse refers to the bells attached to the hem of the high priest's robe, as described earlier in the chapter. Aaron was Israel's first high priest, appointed by God to represent the people before Him in the tabernacle. The holy place was where God's presence dwelt, and approaching Him required careful adherence to His instructions.
