And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
And when you arrive in the land that the LORD will give you, just as he has promised, you must continue to observe this ceremony.
God is telling the Israelites that when they reach the Promised Land, they must continue celebrating the Passover as a lasting tradition.
📚 Historical Context
This verse is part of God's instructions for the first Passover, given to Moses while the Israelites were still enslaved in Egypt. God was establishing the Passover ceremony not just as a one-time event for their escape from Egypt, but as a permanent memorial to be observed even after they settled in the land He promised to give them. This shows God's confidence that He would fulfill His promise to bring them to Canaan despite their current circumstances.
