And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
And the LORD said to Moses, 'I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will actually force you to leave completely.'
God is telling Moses that one final plague will convince Pharaoh to not just allow the Israelites to leave Egypt, but to actually push them out urgently.
📚 Historical Context
This occurs after nine devastating plagues have already struck Egypt, yet Pharaoh continues to refuse to release the Israelites from slavery. Moses has been going back and forth with Pharaoh, and each plague has been more severe than the last. God is now preparing Moses for the final, most terrible plague - the death of the firstborn - which will finally break Pharaoh's resistance.
