And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
When you get there, find Jehu (the son of Jehoshaphat, grandson of Nimshi), go to him, make him get up from among his companions, and take him to a private room.
The prophet is giving specific instructions to find Jehu and take him somewhere private for an important message from God.
📚 Historical Context
This instruction comes from the prophet Elisha to a young prophet he's sending to anoint Jehu as the next king of Israel. At this time, the wicked King Joram (son of Ahab) was ruling Israel, and God was preparing to fulfill His judgment against Ahab's family line. Jehu was a military commander who would become God's instrument to destroy the house of Ahab and restore proper worship in Israel.
