Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
Listen, the time is coming when everything in your palace, and all the treasures your ancestors have stored up to this day, will be carried away to Babylon. Nothing will be left behind, says the LORD.
God is warning that everything valuable in the royal palace will one day be taken away to Babylon as punishment.
📚 Historical Context
This prophecy was given by Isaiah to King Hezekiah after Hezekiah foolishly showed all his treasures to Babylonian envoys.
