The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head;
The king also said to Shimei, 'You know all the evil things in your heart that you did to David my father. So the LORD will bring that evil back on your own head.'
King Solomon is telling Shimei that God will punish him for the evil things he did to King David.

In the biblical narrative, Shimei was a man from the tribe of Benjamin who cursed King David during Absalom's rebellion, as described in 2 Samuel 16, showing the deep-seated rivalries within Israel's royal family. David spared Shimei's life at the time but later advised his son Solomon to address such threats to maintain stability in the kingdom.
