The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.
The LORD is going to be absolutely overwhelming to them, he's going to make all the fake gods of the world completely powerless and irrelevant. And when that happens, people everywhere will worship him right where they are, even in the most distant places and cultures.
God's going to show up so powerfully that every fake thing people worship will fade away, and everyone will recognize who's really in charge.
