And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
And I will make you like a strong bronze wall to this people. They will fight against you, but they will not defeat you, because I am with you to save you and rescue you, says the LORD.
God is promising Jeremiah that He will make him strong like an unbreakable wall - people will oppose him, but God will protect him and they won't succeed.
📚 Historical Context
This promise came to the prophet Jeremiah during one of the most difficult periods in Israel's history, as he delivered God's warnings about the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Jeremiah faced constant opposition, persecution, and death threats from his own people who didn't want to hear his messages of judgment. God gave him this encouragement to continue his prophetic ministry despite the intense resistance he would face.
