I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
In the book of Zechariah, written around 520 BC during the post-exilic period when the Jews had returned from Babylonian captivity, the prophet delivers messages of hope about God's restoration for Israel. This verse builds on themes of past deliverances, such as the exodus from Egypt and the Assyrian conquests, symbolizing God's ongoing promise to gather His scattered people from various lands. It envisions a future of such prosperity and growth that the regions of Gilead and Lebanon would not have enough space for them.
