📚 Contexto Histórico

This psalm was written after the Jewish people returned from their 70-year exile in Babylon, around 538 BC. They were rebuilding their lives and nation, which required enormous sacrifice and hard work. The imagery of sowing and reaping was especially meaningful to an agricultural society that understood how farmers must work through difficult seasons to eventually harvest crops.
