📚 Contexto Histórico
This occurs during Balaam's journey to curse the Israelites at the request of King Balak of Moab. Balaam was a pagan prophet who could see spiritual things, but ironically his donkey could see the angel of the LORD blocking their path while Balaam himself was spiritually blind to it. This was God's way of preventing Balaam from reaching his destination to curse God's chosen people.
