📚 Contexto Histórico
This occurred around 1400 BC when the Israelites, led by Joshua, miraculously crossed the Jordan River on dry ground to enter the Promised Land after 40 years in the wilderness. The tenth day of the first month (Nisan) was significant because it was also when they would select the Passover lamb four days later. Gilgal became their base camp and would serve as their headquarters during the conquest of Canaan.
