Shiloh was an ancient worship center where the tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant were kept for centuries before Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem. Around 1050 BC, God allowed the Philistines to capture the Ark and destroy Shiloh because of Israel's wickedness and the corrupt priests there. Jeremiah is reminding the people that even their most sacred places aren't safe from God's judgment when they turn away from Him.
