Jeremías escribió una carta desde Jerusalén a los judíos que habían sido llevados cautivos a Babilonia por Nabucodonosor.
📚 Contexto Histórico
During the 6th century BC, the Babylonian Empire under King Nebuchadnezzar had conquered Jerusalem and forcibly exiled many Jews to Babylon as part of God's judgment on their unfaithfulness. Jeremiah, a prophet remaining in Jerusalem, wrote this letter to the captives, including elders, priests, and prophets, to deliver God's instructions on how to live wisely in exile. This sets the stage for themes of hope, endurance, and divine guidance amid national disaster.
