📚 Contexto Histórico
This prophecy was given to King Hezekiah of Judah after he proudly showed all his treasures to Babylonian envoys around 700 BC. The prophet Isaiah warned that this display of wealth would lead to Babylon eventually conquering Jerusalem and taking the royal family captive, which happened about a century later when Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem in 586 BC.
