📚 Contexto Histórico
This prophecy was given by Isaiah around 700 BC, long before Babylon became a world power. It predicted the eventual fall of Babylon, which came to pass when the Medo-Persian Empire conquered it in 539 BC under Cyrus the Great. At the time Isaiah wrote this, Babylon was still rising to power and would later destroy Jerusalem and take the Jewish people into exile.
