📚 Contexto Histórico
Ezekiel was a prophet and priest among the Jewish exiles in Babylon, taken captive from Jerusalem around 597 BC during the Babylonian conquest under King Nebuchadnezzar. In this verse, he has just received a divine vision calling him to speak God's words to the exiles, and he travels to Telabib near the Chebar River to join them. There, he sits with the exiles in a state of astonishment, likely reflecting the shock of his prophetic experience and the shared hardship of exile.
