And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
In the book of Exodus, the Israelites had recently been freed from slavery in Egypt and were wandering in the desert, facing hardships like hunger and uncertainty. They began to complain to Moses and Aaron, demanding food and questioning God's provision, which reflected their forgetfulness of His past miracles. Moses responded by reminding them that their grumblings were not truly against human leaders but against the Lord Himself, who was guiding their journey.
