And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Y el SEÑOR le dijo a Moisés: 'Al que haya pecado contra mí, borraré su nombre de mi libro.'
Dios borrará de su libro el nombre de quien peque contra él.
📚 Contexto Histórico
In the book of Exodus, the Israelites had recently escaped slavery in Egypt and were camped at Mount Sinai, where God was giving Moses the Ten Commandments as the foundation of His covenant with them. While Moses was on the mountain receiving these laws, the people grew impatient and convinced Aaron to create a golden calf idol for them to worship, directly violating God's commands against idolatry. God, in His response to this rebellion, spoke to Moses about blotting out from His book those who had sinned, referring to a divine record of the faithful and highlighting the serious consequences of unfaithfulness.
