📚 Contexto Histórico

At the time of Exodus 32:1, the Israelites were encamped at the foot of Mount Sinai, where Moses had gone up to receive the Ten Commandments from God after their deliverance from Egypt. As Moses' absence stretched on, the people grew anxious and fearful, doubting his return and forgetting the recent miracles God had performed. This event highlights their quick turn to idolatry, seeking tangible leaders in place of the invisible God who had led them out of slavery.
