📚 Contexto Histórico
This command came after the Israelites refused to enter the Promised Land when the twelve spies reported back, with ten of them spreading fear about the giants and fortified cities. Because of their rebellion and lack of trust in God's promise, the entire generation (except Joshua and Caleb) was sentenced to wander in the wilderness for 40 years until they died. This verse marks the beginning of that long wilderness wandering period.
