📚 Contexto Histórico
This refers to Moses interceding for Israel after they made the golden calf while he was on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments. God was so angry at their idolatry that He threatened to destroy the entire nation and start over with Moses. Moses prostrated himself before God for forty days and nights, fasting and pleading for God's mercy on behalf of the people.
